Luca Ibelli is Director Government Relations Europe at Procter & Gamble (P&G). He has been leading advocacy on sustainability files, including the Ecodesign Regulation for Sustainable Products (ESPR), the Batteries Regulation and waste legislation. As such, Luca worked across several product categories, such as electrical appliances and absorbent hygiene products. Luca is also the Issue Lead of the American Chamber of Commerce to the E (Amcham EU) Taskforce on ESPR, leading Amcham EU advocacy on ecodesign and the Digital Product Passport. In this position, Luca drove the drafting of a joint industry statement on DPP, with signatures from 10 associations, including GS1.
Before joining P&G, Luca worked as Public Affairs manager at Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) and at ACE (beverage packaging association).
Luca has a background in political science and international relations.
An Italian national, Luca fluently speaks French, English and Spanish.
