Kees is overall industry thought leader within the Global Sector for Consumer Products and Retail at Capgemini, where he is responsible for all Insights and Data propositions.
He has more than 25 years working experience in this industry. His track-record include a range of strategic digital and data-related initiatives in both B2C and B2B domains at leading retailers and manufacturers around the world, such as Ahold, Carrefour, Tesco, Walmart, Coca-Cola, IKEA, Unilever and Philips.
He is also responsible for the strategic relationship with The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF, global, parity-based industry network that is driven by its Board consisting of the 50 CEO’s of the worlds leading retailers and manufacturers). Kees is pro-actively involved in various CGF initiatives, such as in the ‘Coalition of Action on Product Data’, ‘Coalition of Action on Healthier Living’and ‘Innovation in Collaboration’, working with executives of leading consumer goods and retail companies. Kees also has been working closely with GS1 in various initiatives (both with GS1 global office and individual MO’s)
He is co-author of many Consumer Goods and Retail thought leadership reports, with focus on industry collaboration in the digital age. Examples are ‘The Future Value Chain’, ‘Beyond the Label’, ‘Consumer Engagement Principles’ and ‘Digital Shopper Relevancy’.
